    It says that it is for new members only though, and that people who have had the free trial will not be able to use this

    Yeah. The 30day trial and 15 amazon voucher is for newbies to lovefilm. It's what i did before Xmas but then is was 20 quid voucher. So i got the subscription for nothing and 2.50 amazon voucher money left for my trouble.
