Thanks, I had £10 of credits to use!
  • I'd be careful with this one. Was just reading about it on HDUK. Voucher takes 48 hours to arrive and reports of them actually taking £20 from people's accounts when this deal was run in the past with very poor customer service. I decided to avoid.

Thanks for this - I missed it in my e-mails from Living Social this morning!

I bought from this deal before Xmas and am happy with it. It did take a couple of days for one of the vouchers to come through, but I've managed to bank both mine and my husband's vouchers on one HMV account so will soon have enough to get a Nintendo 3DS for half price. Only way we could afford one at the minute!

Alot of people were trying to buy more than one when it clearly states 1 per person . I have brought quite a few deals from this company and they have taken the right amounts each time. If you stick with the rules you shouldn't have any problems. :)

just a quick reminder, please don't link to threads/posts on the referral board. Thanks.

I have asked Board Guides to move any they see on the main boards. I don't see what the problem was in the end as people got credited?! :D It didn't cost me anything anyway as I used my credit.

  • Thanks just used my credits to get a voucher. The problems people had last time were either due to buying more than one voucher which isn't allowed by the same person/household, or not understanding that the bank holds the £10 as a middleman to ensure that if for any reason the vouchers used on someone's account is not valid (like those who refererred themselves to try and get more) they would be able to claim the £10. The other issue was impatience of money not being taken off hold quickly, but if your buying on a Friday or weekend and staff arent back in the office until Monday of course there will be a delay. Most haven't had issues and I have never had issues with livingsocial but then I follow the rules.

    Thanks op for posting :)
