The only reason I can think of is that their site may not use a trackable courier (such as standard Royal Mail) for their packages. If you complain to PayPal that you have not received an item and the sender cannot prove it was received by POD then PayPal give an automatic refund.
I just went to Movietyme however and I see no scrollnig message and at the foot of the homepage it says they accept PayPal as a payment method?0 -
Thought I must have been having one of 'my' mad moments!lol
Just been back on and checked the message, it is still scrolling in the internet bar on bottom of page, thanks for the reply though.

I have just checked and it is there. It actually refers to "the way they do business" so I would agree this has to be to do with delivery and refund issues.0 -
Could also be charges and their ability to freeze your account and review at any time with out warning. I had problems with them over xmas when selling lots They froze my account for a week to investigate as it was not normal for me to sell so much! Finally unfroze my account, realising business was good because it was xmas. I lost a week's worth of trading as it was the only payment system I was using. I jumped through loops for them to get is all sorted out and got very stressed as they also held £6k of my money at the time and never got a word of apology from them. Paypal is great when it works, but as a business they can really damage you when things go wrong and with no recompsense as 'it's in your terms and conditions.'0

no one uses paypal or ebay for customer service
they come out at the bottom everytime
you have got to expect things to go wrong every once in a while...and when they do...your on your own
but the benefits outway the risks0 -

couldn't agree more - anyone who's used paypal or ebay will be aware - in fact the phrase 'caveat emptor' was made just for those two companies0
