  • I'm just about ready to do my first redeem on Zoombucks, 1,000 points for a $10 Amazon UK evoucher. Can I ask a question? As I've never had any kind of Amazon voucher before, how does it work? I seem to remember there's some opportunity to enter a code when you go to checkout on Amazon - is that it? Will it be a problem with it apparently being in US $? And how long can you save them for?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but maybe the answers will help someone else, too?

Ooh, and another one - can you go to Amazon via the Nectar site & gain Nectar points, too?!

Never redeemed on Zoom hun, so don't know, sorry! But on Amazon UK, with £ Amazon vouchers you just log into your Amazon account, click the link which has something like 'want to add a gift certificate' then add the gift certificate code & the balance is transferred to your account. They are usually valid for 1 year, although i added one the other day where the expiry is April 2013, so just over a year???? Never had one under though. Then every time you pay for something on Amazon you get the option to pay from your gift balance or by an alternative method.
And yes.... pretty sure you can go through Nectar when buying with an Amazon gift cert!

Oh, and just to add, i always add mine to my account as soon as i receive them. I've heard of some people having problems and ending up having to contact whoever had issued it for a replacement code. U probably wouldn't have much luck getting a replacement if you found an issue six months down the line! HTH!
