I've not used either but I have a pile of books that are waiting to go to Zapper once I've found a few more to add. I found it was very hit and miss which books they wanted or didn't want. I haven't sent any off yt so can't comment on what they're like. I could also do with finding another site that wants other books as I have lots that Zapper don't want. I fear a carboot sale may be the only way to get fid of them but to be honest, I can't be bothered!
My points on DooU finally cleared so I claimed my £20 Amazon voucher this morning.
I had a 5 minute Toluna survey that I actually qualified for (first time in ages) and it crashed on what must have been one of the last questions
I've got a stack of things to put on Ebay tonight. I'm feling really motivated with Ebay as it's doubly (is that a word?) useful. If something sells I get money and also a bit more space in my too cluttered house
Non-money making now - my baby has really bad cradle cap and it's starting to worry me. The doctor saw him on Friday and prescribed special shampoo, I'd been using olive oil until then. It just seems to be getting worse though. What's worrying me most is that it's spreading all down his forehead and it's in his eyebrows and on his earlobes and seems to be spreading more every day. I try to wipe the shampoo on his ears and forehead but I can't cover it all as it's so close to his eyes. It looks so painful but he doesn't seem particularly bothered by it thankfully.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

We had this with our son. It looked awful. It was a huge scab like crust all over his forehead, eyebrows and went to the top of his nose. It looks worse than it is. It did not bother my son at all but looked painful. However, it has now all gone as has his cradle cap on his head. It does get worse before it gets better. Also it goes but then comes back but not as much as before. It gets smaller and smaller and then just goes. Well it did for us. We too had the shampoo but also we put aqueous cream on it and this seemed to really help.
I am no medical expert this is just what happened to us. My baby is now 9 months old and free of any cradle cap. HTH.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0 -
Thanks for that, it helps to know other children have had it as bad as this and that it goes. It looks so awful, I'm really worried in case it spreads to his eyelids.Making money for Christmas 2012!0

I have used zapper successfully and had a cheque for £30ish for unwanted books, cds and games. I found factual books did better than others but luckily. I received my cheque within 2-3 weeks. My textbooks will be traded in with Amazon as the rates are better. There is another one, fathead or something like that but they offer lower amounts. The rest was donated to a charity shop.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and still has some cradle cap, not alot but some of it is quite stubborn, it's getting there but I found the charcoal shampoo they prescribe was useless, didn't help at all. My daughter also has dry skin around the same areas you mentioned which is baby excema, if untreated it can look as bad as cradle cap but if you ask the doctor they will prescribe a cream that will work wonders within a few days. Don't put the shampoo on the face area if you can help it as it will dry it out and make it worse.
Had a great night out last night. Had a limo to Brighton, ate at the very busy Jamie's Italian restaurant, lovely meal, no children, relaxing, magnum of champagne. It was lovely and no headaches this morning. Shame it was all over in a whirl, could get used to that!
Not alot of money making, no inspiration and still no kick up the bum been dished out. Think we need a mini challenge (not review related) to get us back in the swing of things.
Hope you are all doing well xComping wishlist for 2017

Listed 9 things on ebay, for 7 days, one item got its fors bid for 99p, another one got 6 watchers, but its not watchers its buyers we want.
last weeks listing was really hit and miss, I sold a dress for £5.50, (no tags), yet a brand new Ann Harvey tshirt only went for 99p. Swings + roundabouts. Hit a few relists, if they go for 99p all helps.
Next job to sort out bday presents for March, and mothers days, got some cards somewhere!! (at least not in loft!!).
Very exicted as my lovelt mum is getting me a kindle for bday, can't wait, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
