Printing PDF's.... NOT to file though !

Hi there 
How come, when I now try to print a PDF file I'm being asked to 'print to file' and enter a file name ?!? No, I just want to print the page to my printer like I used to be able to do !!

Silly Q, can you still print a normal text file? I suspect at some point your default printer (or maybe just pdf reader printer) has been switched to a document printer or your printer has been set to print to file instead of your printer port. Have a look at your printer settings0

Are you trying to print from Adobe Acrobat ?
