Do we have to cancel with the publisher as well as tell the bank? Will a phone call do?

A double-hander is usually best, so cancel at the bank and the magazine.

Work out a bit of a scenario before you call to cancel at Dennis publishing - the number to call is 01795 592910, not the premium rate 0845 number shown on the sheet of paper that accompanies the magazine. Something along the lines of "...you've very kindly allowed me to receive a trial subscription...but I've decided I can get by without it/I'm more interested in skateboarding/my OH won't allow me any more subscriptions.."

I'm sure they'll live with the disappointment, albeit with a heavy heart.

Still no sign of autoglym here either, so heavy hearts all round.

I have not received my autoglym but received my 4th issue of auto express today

i have emailed them and received the following reply:

Thank you for your recent email regarding the Auto Express magazine.

Firstly I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you.

I am able to confirm that we are currently awaiting further stock of the Auto Glym Kit due to popular demand.

If I may ask you to bare with us, as soon as this is received the item will be dispatched to you.

I also received my 4th mag today and still no freebie . Will they wait until AFTER the 6th mag is delivered and everyones cancelled b4 they get restocked ?? :mad:

i don't know, but i'm cancelling after the 6th one wether i get the autoglym kit or not

Just to add that I cancelled mine yesterday as I got a bit mixed up from when I started and didn't want to get charged extra. I got through to a helpful lady who didn't ask any questions as to why I was cancelling. She also said would I still like to recieve the 2 issues yet to be dispatched that were included in the deal (I must have rang 2 weeks early) so I said yes please, and that was that.

I forgot to ask about the Autoglym offer, but I'll take my chances that this will still come rather than paying for a subscription.
