Any use for clove studded Oranges?

Thank you everyone. We used to make these as kids too, and put ribbons round to hang on the xmas tree. large orange 30p at tescos, cloves £1.39 so for less than the price of a normal air freshener (the smell of which is not to my taste) you have a lovely natural smell which lasts loads longer! I love the idea about wheelie bin too, popped all the xmas beer bottles in from OH today and it could definitely do with a fresher smell in there!0

Have a feeling you can burn them on an open fire or wood stove for the nice smell, but can't remember where I read that.First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.0

I put mine in the airing cupboard to dry out and they went rotten
, I might try and put them on a radiator next time. 0
