  • I was looking for a Somerset tote and was trying to find Mulberry's factory shop-somehow I found this;

    Dodgy or what!
  • Mulberrys factory shop is in Shepton Mallet I beleive somewhere..... never been, be too dangerous too!!!
  • I have bought a couple of expensive designer bags over the last year and I love them but what I don't like is that the odd person says it is fake or some people tell me their bag is fake and I hate that I spend all this money and some reckon you can't tell the difference if its a good fake...but I would know so to me if it was fake I wouldn't love it iyswim.

    So my question is how do I prove mine isn't a fake and how do I spot other fakes? Does anyone know?
  • I don't think there is any need to prove your bag is real unless you are selling it. I see a lot of fakes but I pay them little attention. What is the point?

    Not even clicking on the link. There are no online Mulberry outlets.

    There are people who will authenticate your bags if you want to know for sure.
    I wouldn't love a fake either, doesn't matter how good it is!

  • There is also an outlet store in York (town centre not outlet centre).

    I bought 2 in the sale. Mitzy hobo thing and a black patent bayswater (from summer 2009 but I have wanted it since then) One reduced from £766 to £482 and one from £465 to £290. Got from local store with extra 10 per cent off.

    It is 2 years since I last got one. Black big Daria hobo which I have just gifted to my daughter who is very happy. Used it everyday so about 80p a day which isn't bad.
    June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

    All you have to do is go into the Mulberry store and ask the sales assistant telling your them your situation.

    Sorry I meant how can I/we tell by eye? I know mine are authentic because I bought them from the store but I don't like that people flippantly can say they are fake and assume ggrr ;):D
  • Mulberry outlet store at Bicester, Oxford is great too!

    Got an oversized alexa oak in there! I do love a Mulberry bag.....or 10!
