I'm looking for a new vodafone sim only contract and found a code for 9 months half price on a 12 month contract costing £15.50+ using code 9SIMO

when I put the sim card in my basket and enter the code this is what shows up.

9 months half price line rental on your SIM only plan

Quantity : 1

The first 3 months line rental on your SIM only price plan will be half price
Remove voucher

Does this mean they're giving me 9 months half price or 3 months half price?
