Hey guys,
Can anyone shed any light on what debenhams january sales are usually like?
I'm after loads of home stuff as i'll be getting vouchers for xmas as we are moving into a new house. Would be good to get some nice kitchenware and bed linen etc. Are they usually good price wise in the sales with this kind of stuff?
Any idea if there are any plans that have leaked this year?
Many thanks!

Generally they are OK I think, 70% off sale is the norm and every time I've gotten to the store the shelves are pretty empty (this is in Oxford Street London) though to be fair, people go a bit crazy in that area and will stock up on everything even if the offer isn't so great, M&S stores in London end up the same.
Whenever I have visited I've seen a lot of Arabian visitor shop in both those stores with massive families (many children), I think things from those stores must be well appreciated in the countries they are visiting from as they do bulk buy a lot -by far they aren't the only shoppers but a reason to go early if you are planning on going!0 -
When does the big part of the sale usually start? 27th? or 1st working day in Jan?
they've just updated their website, will be on the 27th
