Hi everyone, this is my first post here :j
myself and dh have had a hard couple of years with me losing my job whilst on maternity (long story no comp n no pay plus no job to go back to that fitted round kids) and dh being a tradesman so very quiet on job front. Anyway we've fairly raked up the credit card bills etc and now owe around £12,000 (eeekkkk) due to late payments etc our credit rating isn't great so can't hunt around for interest free at moment so getting nowhere making minimum payments each month. BUT there's light lol, I'm finally starting the job I was offered in May (good old NHS taking forever) am having to travel 1.5hrs each way until I can get into my local hospital who are hopefully recruiting in Jan, but its a start and with 12hour nightshift it'll be about £100 a week (can only do one shift due to dh's work....although if he has quiet spells.....self employed but been with one company for few years.....I can up my hours instantly as bank work as auxiliary) plus if I get in local I can do 2 night shifts as commute would be down to 20mins so home in time for him starting at weekend starting time and some wee shifts on my brothers days off as he offered to look after kids til dh gets home if back shift.
SORRY what a blether, am just itching to get earning and get paying off cc's but don't know where to start...will they help reduce interest if we explain situation or how long making payments on time etc before we can have a hope of getting decent 0% offers? Any help/advice welcome thanks for reading and here's to 2012

ok, I've done that the best I can just now, will add in apr's etc tomorrow, our loan isn't a worry as we've 3 years left on it, never missed a payment, can pay in extra in future if we want and its kinda our bigger mortgage practise, want to move but not until thats payed off (along with everything else) so we know we can afford at least that. How do I let everyone see it? thanks again xxx0

Click format results for MSE. We can then go through and see if there is anything to tweak or what's best to work on0
