No you need to buy a specific diesel oil.

when i use the castrol find my oil guide it shows the same oil for all 3 of our car / vans regardless if petrol or diesel is this correct? as two are 1.7, and a 1.3 diesel and the other a 1.4 petrol all vauxhall .

I think this is the one I bought (although I'm starting to wonder whether I can use it, as my car's diesel... Although the oil doesn't state petrol only it not suitable for diesel cars!)

I was all worried, but checked the bottle and it states suitable for petrol & diesel cars...
