Lol I have a feeling that at least 2 customers in R1$c4 will unfortunately be overcharged on some items tomorrow morning.... how unlucky... be nice to meet someone who shops like I do...back and forth to the scanner with a trolley full of the most random objects!!;)

oh yes, i always thought thats why they have a divider in trolleys, 1 1/2 for scanning items, 1 1/2 for the ones im buying :D

mostly have 1 of my DS's in tow, but there up their dads so it will be just be me marching back an forth the scanner tomorrow :)
though if i got my lil 1, he is just getting the hang on scanning items lol, love him an he is only 1, very bright for his age, mser in the making;)

Would like everyone to know that after 4years and 3.5 months of living in this house, I have just ventured into (well looked into) the garage loft for the first time. Lots of rat baby droppings up there, might have to get the outdoor brush and try to reach them.

Haven't ventured up to my house loft yet, not sure I ever will after watching The Grudge (that bloody film will stay with me until I die!), no idea where the light is up there either!

There's only one that works so I expect I will be there too!

I am going at 10 when they open so I hope you can run fast lol...it will be like Supermarket Sweep - wild in the aisles!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't know if your stores the same as mine and I found it out by accident, but on Sundays if a store opens at 10, It usally means 9.30 but you can't actually pay till 10. Even the ones that open at 11 let you in at 10.30, might give you an advantage;):rotfl::rotfl:

when in my metro yesterday a cs could not get till to do dtd so she called manager, he said just give him jtd then. they argued for a while so she apologised to me and gave me jtd. i then told manager to phone head office and he changed his mind and told cs to give me dtd which she did. after manager went away i said you have given me money already and gave her the jtd part back. i done this as she was really nice by fighting my corner and did not want to see her till down. but in your case i would have done the same

I actually didn't realise until I had got back to the car as she thrust it into my hand screwed up in the receipt and I had 2 patio sets balanced in my trolley as well as a carrier bag hanging off my one arm and my phone in my hand

i saw your post, but i was hoping maybe they may have brought out more stock in the night

wishful thinking i know!!! last ditch attempt was ym i think they are probably all gone now!

i wouldn't have gone over to aberdare anyway oh worries about diesel costs and won't let me out to play to far afield (Risca is 8miles away that's his max)

    ahh well i can't miss what i haven't got

can you think of any other small ones around? the aberdare store had no clue that they had been reduced, i only found 3 look how cool this is things there all in different places and they were priced as the high prices, they had usb drum kit pad marked as £7.50, Plasma orbs in toy area was £10 and the 3 telescopes were on the very top shelf with no label! i walked up and down the toy isle 3 times before i saw them way up on the top, i nearly had a heart attack when i saw them as i almost gave up hope lol
so dont give up hope "look up" lol

I wrote an earlier post this morning and lost it all.

First off all thanks to Minnie, for letting me in on where to find a telescope. Cant thank you enough.

Last night, I found a virgin store and found so much. Basically i had one of those small trolleys and i totally filled it up.
Found some more littlest pet toys, ones limited edition :)
    Bob the builder treats
Hanna Montana wrapping paper with tag
    The nutri slow release tabs
    Feed all soluable plant food
    Croc odours
And finally some lucozade shots, taste terrible but they so work.

And i mentioned earlier about the H and M action figures equipment sets, They retail for £18 got them for 22p. Just need to get a cheap doll now :)

On top of all that, this morning received a lovely letter of apology from tesco with a £25 gift card. Last month i bought 2 loaves of olive bread however they turned out to be walnut :( I had given to my 1 yr old who has a nut allergy. Im so grateful he picked out the nut and handed it over to me. Thank you so much to you all, as normally i wouldn't even have thought to complain to tesco. When i received this morning i jumped in joy. Ahh funny site.

How could i forget finally managed to find the tesco mirrors to see my son in the back while im driving. It was the one thing i wanted so much. Almost was trouted on them as well. But there safe with me now.

Thanks to all ops and another special thanks to Minnie.
  • Hello,

I'v finally managed my first post after lurking for the past couple of weeks. You all seem a really friendly bunch, unlike the miserable lot on HDUK ! Thanks to you all I have managed to bag me a couple of bargains over the past weeks. Hopefully I will be able to contribute and share my finds with you all. 'Winjackie' I think you visit my local 'Gallows'.

Homeplus is kinda like an extra, without the food. I have found stuff in my local but not since the 4p shirts.

Dont know of any between here and you, but T website might be able to locate some for you?
I've already looked on there but they aren't listed at all which made me think that perhaps there's not that many?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
