Big cyber hugs to Nickkilala and her clever puppy, kadison, sharon_p and spiraling down. All for different reasons but all richly deserved and from the heart xxxx.

Remember peeps, some days you're the statue and some days you're the pigeon. We're all at different points on the wheel and if we were all having a sh!te time at the same time, we wouldn't be able to support each other so well. Enjoy the good stuff when it happens - your news is brilliant Nikki, I'm SO pleased for you - but know that when times are hard, everything changes eventually. Hope that doesn't sound too preachy, but it's something I genuinely believe. Wishing good things for you all. xxxx
    Hope is not a strategy.

Wow it's quiet on here tonight. I've just spent an hour watching the Hotel on catch up 4 OD (Filmed in Torquay, where I'm from) and there was only one page to catch up on here!! Is there a glitch I've missed?!!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

The spicy nuts are black top and bottom. The satay mix are maroonish.

Thanks Rubisco. I will have a look for these on my travels! I assume they both scan at 1p

I've found that as it's a new store (y4te) It's the cleanest one around.:( Give it 6 months and we'll start finding stuff. :)

The annoying thing with y@te is that the have 3 price checkers instore, but none have ever worked!

Which doesn't make it very easy to find 1p/mispriced items!

    Is there a muller deal/glitch?

    Evernine!

Had a useless day in Mr T's and a brilliant one in Mr W's, went to Pig Hill for whoopsies, nothing whatsoever that I'd consider even half decently priced, so tried Cir3nc3st3r, lots of 1p veg crisps but nothing else, plentiful but pitiful whoopsies, things marked down to £4.39 from £4.99, that sort of thing, did however get a sneaky price match on some light bulbs that scanned through at £3.47 but all the vaguely corresponding labels stated £2.47 or £2.50, went to CS who were completely useless, woman said "well I don't know without going to check", so I waited for her to say she's check or get someone to, nothing so walked off in a huff.

Went to SS till, asked guy there who looked a helpful sort to find out how much they should be, said I'd been to CS and they'd been no help. He got someone (turned out to be a manager) to check who also couldn't find a corresponding label so took me to a till and got the SA to mark all six down to £2.50 each - woohoooo!!!!

Then tried T3tbury, nowt! Won't bother there again, best way home is through Ciren so stopped off at the big Waitrose, BIG MISTAKE. For my freezer that is :D

2 unsmoked gammon joints, I overheard the bloke saying "we don't even need to sell them until next week but the manager wants the xmas stock gone!", so SBD of 13th Jan!

My MSE ears pricked right up on hearing him but I'd only gone in with a basket so I picked up a joint marked down to £6.40 from a whopping £31.50! :j:j:j:j and two lots of Kestrel (???) potatoes marked down to 19p a bag. Paid, went back in with a trolley and got another down to £3.66 from £13.22, VERY pleased and will be going back there again!!

Hope everyone's had a good day? I really need to start looking around for that second freezer, god knows what I'm going to do with all this ham......

KADISON -- Sending you hugs & lots of get well wishes

Thank you very much fot the tip-off on the pastry. I had to hand around for 15mins whilst the SA marked down 100 pots of custard ebfore doing the pastry, but worth it in the end. I would have got more, but my freezer is full!

Crock-pot is one of the makes/brands of slow cooker.....and actually that was the one I decided to buy. Half price in T's today (and on T's direct as well)
There is also a T's own brand slow cooker, which is £5 less.

I too treated myself to one of these crock pots today :T

Kadison - sending big hugs...and to anyone else that needs them :grouphug:

I once phoned the NHS helpline while I was at work on my friends say so as I told her I had a stitch like pain in the topof my chest....after answering a series of yes and no type questions, they told me to put the phone down and ring 999 as I was having a heart attack  when they told me that I nearly did have a bl00dy heart attack! I broke down in tears petrified (I was only 26!)...and was sent home to go straight to my docs....who advised me I had pulled a muscle in my chest!!!

Frightened the life outofme, but obviously as they cant see you they're limited in the diagnosis they can give, so always be on the safe side and visit docs if you're not 100% :)

Did you get a nurse call-back? I did today, I expect you got someone new or something, I've called with chest pains convinced I was having a heart attack, turned out to be acid reflux. D'oh!

Thanks chick, I have a routine appt set up on the 18th so will discuss it all and the anxiety with her then. This pulled facial muscle is getting right on my nerves now though, I keep thinking everyone can see it!

Kadison I can see your green light is still on, go and get some rest.:heart2::coffee:

Will be back later to see what news the thick brown envelope has brought for Nikki's DS. ;)

I am! I mean, I was! TBH I doubt my green light ever goes off during the day as I leave my computer on.....
