You won't go wrong with a Toshiba, or a Sony. Everything else is just rubbish TBH. Avoid Dell like the plague.

Pity you couldn't double the budget and buy a MacBook Air.

    I have a Dell and think it's great :p

Forgot to add that the muller worked in Newport and also had a 55p bogof and couldn't figure out what it was, checked receipt again and it was my woopsie pastry!

Thank you to the original OP on the muller.

Off topic - when do i get my third star?

Well done to nikkilala's DS! :T You must be so proud!
  • Hi

Firstly, well done to Nikkilala's DS!!!

Secondly, the Muller yogs double discount is working at M*nst*n in Th*n*t - I bought 12 which cost 61p x12 = 7.32 less 2 different discounts which totalled 4.64 leaving 2.68 to pay, which makes it just over 22p per pot.

I bought the toffee hoops flavour and the vanilla choc balls flavour

I've left a post on Techie Forum but thought I'd ask you lot here also, as I know you all know where the bargains are.

My DH has offered to buy me a new Lappie, woooohooooo. Anyway after looking on a few sites I'm now confused. Obviously I want the best, biggest memory, biggest had drive etc etc for the money. Budget is up to £375.
Where has the best deals, which laptops peform well. I use mine for Family History research, email, surveys, photos etc, NO GAMING, well maybe bingo on a couple of sites lol.
    I've seen a HP with a memory of 6GB and a 640GB Hard drive for £349 and a Asus with a 4GB Memory and 750 Hard drive also £349.

Anything considered really as long as it is fast and big memory and hd. Ooooooops just had to 'flack' the moths away as DH has wallet open lol

We bought the Asus with the slightly lower hard drive for my Mum for a pressie just before Xmas it was showing out of stock online but called in when passing the shop and they had 2 in stock - 2 days later this one was the same price!!!! It had reasonable reviews on Which and seems to be pretty good. (Never posted before despite lurking for a little while, but thought I would reply to this:))
