Bought six Muller corners which were 0.61p on offer for 6 for £2.00. (the ones with crunchy balls or digestive biscuits). Is also taking off the offer for Muller normal yoghurts of 4 for £2. Hence paid £1.56 for six.

wish i'd done the maths properly before rushing out.....to get the best out of this deal, we should have both bought 12 :o

contract 1 should be finished and paid friday

Congrats on the back-to-back contracts Frequent!!

I'm supposed to be working for myself but things ATM are a bit quiet (to say the least). But I have to be thankful for this cos I although I may have discovered this thread I would never have been able to participate.

Also my current sub-contract with Mr T is so very special cos I've rarely had contracts that paid as promptly as yours ... :D

I had a manager in leicester recently give me a right hard time. Didn't want to give DTD at all.....gave it in the end when he realised I was as stubborn as mule! :D

I told him tescos pricing was rubbish and I was sick of getting overcharged and this time one way or the other I was getting my DTD!

Can confirm also that the muller yoghurt glitch is working but only on the yoghurts with the biscuit bits ie hoops, digestive, banana flakes etc not the ones when u add the flavoured sauces... I bought 12 milk choc digestive ... 2 discounts came off..

    Total...£7.32
    Pot yoghurts 4 for 2... £1.32
    Buy 6 for £2...£3.32

    Subtotal ..£2.68 so a saving of £4.64

Evening folks. Finally caught up after a hectic day. Found some whoopsied cream tonight but wasn't happy at paying £1 as it was only half price. Long story short a manager said it could get reduced down again. Well for some reason it was reduced down by another 60% (unless I heard the manager wrong as I thought he said reduced TO 60%) so 500ml of double cream for 40p. I've no idea what you nasty lot have been paying but I've pretty pleased as with 2 young kids, I don't get the chance to go out proper whoopsieing (did the Oxford English Dictionary accept that word yet?). I've made up 2 of the 4 cartons so far and I'm pretty pleased. I tried some but as it was destined for the freezer it wasn't salted but hopefully after resting in the freezer it'll be great. I worked out that a 500ml tub give you approx 250g of butter plus some buttermilk (forgot to measure). For me that works out at 16p/100g which beats the hell out of normal butter. I had no idea how expensive butter was until recently and you have no idea how much the ex used to waste as he'd scoop out any unused butter from the dish and put it in the bin rather than put it in the fridge.

I've also decided to keep a spreadsheet for the next few months at least to see what I'm spending and how much meals etc are costing. So far it's costing twice as much to feed a 9 month old as it is a 2 year old. I hate paying for formula and unfortunately it will never glitch :(

Right, need a quick bevvy to help knock me out as the weather here is threatening to knock out the electric and pull the dormer roof off.

    Update of neighbour's dogs:

Well, we'd just finished eating dinner and there was a knock on the door - it was the chap who also looks after neighbours dogs sometimes - he said neighbout had pushed his keys through his door on thursday with no note or anything, so doesn't know when he will be back  chap hadn't been last night as was in hospital after a road accident - in van that went off road, and rolled 11 times, woke up with tool box on side of his head/face - bad concussion. Had just got out of hospital so came round to check on dogs. He'd read my note and come straight round to explain

So he'd been in there 2 days ago, but inbetween then and 10 pm'ish Bruce had stroke or something and now couldn't see at all, and got in trouble in garden. I said I wasn't willing to leave door open for them in case Bruce got stuck in garden again, so he said he'd lock back door. I said I would look in to check them and let them out/feed them, in mornings and he said he would come evenings. Will be interesting to see when neighbour gets home, and what he thinks about condition of Bruce, who has settled but clearly can't see at all :(

So now at least I know it has only been the 48 hours I have been looking in on them, but something happened to Bruce before that - or chap didn't notice the change and it happened earlier :(:(

    Right finally caught up!

3dogs you are absolutely LOVELY! The kind of neighbour all of us would wish to have. I'm so sorry to hear about Bruce and the awful irresponsibility of your neighbour!!!:mad::mad::mad: It must be so hard to see Bruce in such a bad way but you've done a FANTASTIC job at looking after him and his friends and I really really hope your neighbour is home ASAP to actually give a damn, gahhhh some people make me so damn ANGRY!

Sharon-p so glad to hear you managed to get the flight sroted and the admin fee waived :) It's a shame that nowadays there are a lot of companies that don't take personal circumstances into account but it's really nice to hear of some CS with a heart! :T

Argh I can't belive I even managed to catch up, I'm, sure I've missed something I wanted to comment on but I'm falling asleep so I shall bid you all goodnight. Hospital for me tomorrow...may be a T's run too :D So I won't be around for a while.

Stay safe, take care and good night Elite :A
