Oh I am so happy! Went out with DD in car to collect her train tickets from station, despite the fact I wasn't feeling at all well. Said to her, seeing as we're making the trip, we'll pop into Mr T's for a whoopsie sortie. When we got there there were some reduced items but they weren't trying very hard on the meat, but picked up some veg and salad reduced. Kept popping past the reductions - pleasant but persistent is our watchword. The women in there seem to disappear with the pricing gun when they see you loitering, but on third or fourth sweep a gentleman was there with his gun. Picked up three packs of sirloin steak and one of casserole steak reduced to £1.25 each - well pleased. Then, while I was queueing at the till, I realised they all had the 3 for £10/ 4 for £12 stickers on - dare I hope??? YES, they gave me a £4 off, so 6 sirloin steaks and a good pack of casserole steak for £1! Result!!!!

Then we'd bought 3 little packs of After Eights as they were reduced to 3 for £1. Didn't reduce it correctly, put through as 3x 65p and reduced by 30p so we paid £1.65 nett. DTD of £1.30, so free After Eights and 30p towards rest of shopping. They removed the sel in my store, but may work in others.

Then finally, I got my first 1p items - 2 packs of the red and blue Sarah Wotsit wipes. They went through at 35p last week, today a penny. Left one pack there as wasn't sure what they'd scan at. This was the S3!by store.

Felt so happy driving home, felt like karma because I'd turned out when I wasn't feeling too brilliant. Woo-hoo!
    Hope is not a strategy.

just to let you know kadison, still not reduced a second time at 9pm. but i did get 4x 1p bin odour things on click strip.
I also got in an express store 5x packs of powerade for a pound each. seen this on hukd not sure if its been mentioned on here though.
i once said to nikkilala that i spent 2hrs a day on this site, well its taken over my life now. as its now between 5 & 8 hrs:rotfl:

    It's taking over mine too!

Have you EVER had any decent meat whoopsies in our local? They seem to be really rubbish! I've only ever had really really good luck in the veg bit, always seem to get potatoes for next to nothing and a lot of ham appears in the chilled bit, but no meat!

    I WANT MEAT! :rotfl:
    yeah it was

hopefully its all over and done with now :)

Yes she seems to have disappeared, though I was catching up when I posted that and replying as I went.

    Hi all

I have been lurking for what feels like weeks now,but i've read the whole thread from the start and it has taken some doing!

Unfortunately, my localest (!) mr T has no scanner, and the next nearest has two which weren't working when I was in last so I'm struggling to find any helpful items to add at the moment.

I was in my local mr T Monday (Milf0rd H4ven) and got some of the 1p sponges (SEL 7p) and a DAB radio for £5 but couldn't find anything else. I rarely get any decent whoopsies in there either. I will however keep looking in both and post anything I find.

Massive thanks to everyone on here for all the great posts, I really hope I can find something to add too!

If the 'who are you list' is still going - I'm 40 something, female and living in West Wales, although I'm from the North East of England originally :)

Found a similar one to this tonight but instead of a honey pot, pooh is holding a cushion saying 'cuddle me'. SEL £6.50, scanned at 58p. BC 0495.

    HTH x

Ah you beat me to it Sanya, I found that one too. It's about twice the size of the one Looby123 posted and I was really lucky and managed to get both of them. Thanks Looby :T

And a big thanks to Debsjc, your first post was enough for me to find the right wine. ;)

And great shop today after yesterday's flop. :D

Why does the test font. size, boldness, line spacing etc go funny when you copy and paste from a word document????
