No wonder they've been reduced ... but it should be to 1p ... cos mine didn't have any marmalade and the neighbour's didn't have any spices0 -

Even the one I posted is a bit close to the bone.
Talking of which, I was gonna mention this earlier in the thread but forgot. I'm all for smutty inuendo etc, but I am a little concerned that the thread does spend a bit tooooo much time in the gutter, particularly in the daytime on occasion.
I wouldn't want the thread to get pulled or for those who don't quite share the same sense of humour to feel uncomfortable in here.
Maybe just worth re-reading our own posts now and again before hitting the submit button just so we keep things all nice and friendly for everyone. Not moaning as such, just saying........0 -
Happy new thread everyone... looking forward to many a happy hour here!
Ref English kids getting picked on up here in Scotland.... TBH all kids get picked on everywhere..... some cos they're fat, some cos they're thin, some cos they've got specs, some cos they're ginger, and yes some cos they were not originally local BUT I think thats the same where ever you are in the UK. The schools are v hot on bullying and wont tolerate it - in our local school the majority of kids are local born bred and buttered but the ones that arent soon make friends and fit in. I think bairns are more resilient than adults some times.

Does anyone know the price of the cakes today?
Still £2 and £1 ... you still couldn't buy what ingredients are actually in the bag. I got another one of each to act as "activity bags" for rainy days (i.e. something to occupy the kids when all else has failed).0 -
