A most successful whoopsie-tastic visit to T's tonight:j
Tons of chilled meat and poultry for pitiful prices, I take the things I want whatever the price, wander round for a bit then go back when they do the last discount which can be 90% in my store and ask for the best price! I'm always nice and they seem happy with that! Mind you the SA did have the nerve to final discount 2 large Finest chicken breasts from £6.79:eek: , then £3.50 down to only £1.02...wasn't happy so asked for cheaper and got them for 68p!!
Got loads of other really cheap stuff there was way more than usual, SA said they have lots to clear as it's Xmas. I guess it's hit and miss but it was well worth going tonight...freezer stocked for months and the meat will go nicely with the lonely OEP waiting for some company!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Did a cheeky coupon too - I printed 2 of the SSM Ambi Pur £2 off 3volution and used them both against 1 £4 refill, 2nd one wouldn't go through but SA approved it anyway..nice for free lol!!!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
I'm rubbish with beers and spirits and I need some advice ... and so I thought who better to ask than the regulars at HC's gltich and b1tch pub?
- I'd like to get a bottle of Brandy for mum's main carer (to accompany some fine Raindrop mugs
). She's a real angel and she's working over Christmas and so will be making my life so much easier.
- Also, I'd like to get a bottle of Whiskey for one of mum's neighbours (a Jewish guy who before mum developed Alzheimers used to take her to Church every Sunday, put her bins out, collect newspaper etc ... he's even popped to Mr Ts of an evening for me to get baby milk when I couldn't get out). Now this chap likes his whiskey and drinks quite a bit ... so I don't want to get something 'cheap and nasty' IYKWIM
- Last (but not least) there's a guy who volunteers for a charity called the Cinnamon Trust who ... come rain or shine, sleet or snow ... walks the dog for me 4 mornings a week. He doesn't really drink but I he has said he sometimes likes a beer but nothing specific
TIA
First of all, make sure which they like - Whisky (Scotch) or Whiskey (Irish or American) as there is a big difference  Spoken as a Whiskey drinker (or whisky if no Irish whiskey about)Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

If money isn't an object
Brandy - Anything XO
Whisky - Glenmorangie/Glenlivit, in fact, any malt. Just not Laphroig, I live it, but it is very peaty/salty and isn't to everyones taste.
Beer, hmmm, Fosters, Carlsberg, and Carling are all pish to me. Some people like them though so it's difficult to say.0 - I'd like to get a bottle of Brandy for mum's main carer (to accompany some fine Raindrop mugs

Despite having done all my xmas shopping and tons of next years b-day/xmas presents too...I feel the need to still go to Ts homeplus in the morning and Ts extra tomorrow night...plus a mad blast on Xmas eve....see thats what this sites turned me into..a Tescomaniac.....not sure whether I'll be happy for a break on Xmas day...or wishing Ts was open for glitches...or spend at least 2 minutes hoping that certain OOD SELs are up on Boxing Day!!
I need help....is there a Ts Anonymous out there?
Think I've had more than enough for tonight, and you are not alone, picking my mum at 7.30 tomorrow morning to go to T's:rotfl::rotfl:lol...of course...I believe that in all HCs Glitch & B1tch Bar staff contracts it orders all staff to be p1ssed on at least 1 shift per week!!! :rotfl:
