I am so sorry to hear that you are not getting to celebrate your birthday the way you would like to. My DSs birthday is the 17th December. To make sure he gets a proper birthday celebration that is not over-shadowed by Christmas, we hold his birthday the nearest weekend before the 17th. That way his school friends are still around to join him for the celebrations. I don't think you have to celebrate your birthday on the actual day, just choose a date close by that you know people will be able to join you for a drink or meal. I am sure they would bring gifts to a birthday celebration bash.
In the mean time  enjoy this years birthday with us, the 11+ers, we are always up an excuse to party :TAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

That's good. They were 60p in Mr T yesterday.
The Mr Kipling mince pies were 50p for 6 but the Tesco mince pies were 50p for 12. The Tesco own brand had brilliant reviews in the newspapers in the run up to Christmas.
No more mince pies in my house this year. They dont fit in with the diet :rotfl: or . Cant quite work out which yet!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
