Mine is open normal Sunday hours 10-4, I think most are having read the posts...I agree, it doesn't help to be too clean as your immune system won't build up, especially for kids, wrap them in cotton wool and they will have a lifetime of picking up everything going!
Happy new year all!
my wee daughter woke at midnight frightened by the fireworks, she says "Daddy some people are stupid, arn't they?"
"why's that darling"
"having fireworks at this time of night!!!" :T:T:rotfl:
I'm the same, you need germs to build up immunity, I never forget this thing about mums who cleaned their surfaces and kid's highchair plate thing so much, thinking they were helping, when in fact the kids were ending up ingesting chemicals. Mind you this was people cleaning and not letting the surface dry before putting food on it, can't imagine what the food must have tasted like :eek:Morning everyone and Happy 2012!!
Hope there's not too many sore heads
We had a lovely time last night. Loads of family, lots of food and drink courtesy of Mr T..... and I even sent them all home with a Toy Story goody bag filled with Dairy Milk, 1p sweets, and an Andrex loo roll !!
Happy birthday KatieRose
Hope Baby arrives today Sunshine
Snap Ant, Ouch!!! Hope the foot gets better very soon.
Love all the doggy pics...here's one of Purdy...my dalmatian we rescued nearly 7 years ago.
She had a cleft palate and was going to be destroyed by the breeder.
She has been the most beautiful dog....absolutely adores people!!
In fact she's cuddled up in bed with me at the moment......I know,I know....shouldn't be encouraged :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh she is gorgeous, she's got a face like my old Lucy, a real princess! I must dig out some pics and post them...No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

W3stern Avenue, scanners are in men's clothing, household and wine aisle if they are working....pharmacy counter will happily check prices..:):)
Scanner in P£ngam Gr££n has been removed and no pharmacy but have an electrical counter and some friendly staff will check prices but others
are not so helpful....HTH..
Yes it does...loads thank you!
All stores are worth checking out you never know what you might find but some prior knowledge helps too of course...everyone is sooo helpful I didn't think I'd get much response!!

Morning all
Hope those with hangovers recover quickly, and Sunshine- I hope today is the day for you :-D)
I've just come back from T. Got a reduced chicken and a yule log reduced from £5 to 88p with 3 days still left on it. Got more iron cloths, no andrex on the go, spray or rolls anywhere :-( These are the things I wanted the most as well. Did manage to get some 50p pantene conditioner, but when i went back to get the rest, they all scanned at £2
JJ your butter looks fab! They did have loads of reduced cream today but i wasnt about to pay 95p for it

Although that list is not entirely up to date, T4lb0t Gr££n has a working scanner and the list says not but hey if I can't put some effort in myself then I don't really deserve the bargains anyway!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I will investigate and report back....ooh I feel excited now!!!

Happy Birthday Katie
T'was strange looking around the room at midnight and not seeing someone there ready to chink glasses with. I guess the firsts are always the hardest but I'll get there.
Forgot to mention that yesterday I picked up some Toy Story Buzz accessories playsets for £1 each. There were 3 different ones which I'll add as I find them:
Gun with discs: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-Pixar-Toy-Story-Playset/dp/B004LIADMC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1325417093&sr=8-7
Search Light: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-Toy-Story-Ranger-Search/dp/B003ILFEHM/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1325418654&sr=1-1
Space Scope: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mattel-Disney-Toy-Story-Accessory/dp/B003IL9ZB8/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1325418595&sr=1-1
Also got a wind-up Woody for £1: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toy-Story-Wind-Ups-Sheriff/dp/B003OB4IIM/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1325417566&sr=1-1
Loving the pics of the doggies especially the Dalmation and the (wrong wording probably) long hair Jack Russell. Not normally a fan of ankle biters but that was a real cutie.
This is the wee one that 'we' rescued but had to return. Still makes me sad thinking about him but he was a darling for the 2 years I had him. He loved sleeping in (yes in) bed and was such great company.0 -
