  • Hi All,

just wanted to wish you all a great Hogmany and all the very best for the new year.

I was in Tesco's earlier and saw the Head & Shoulders with a SEL of 61p so picked up 6 of them, but I think they must have put the new style ones out in the wrong place as they charged me £2.99 each:eek:

Well, went to customer service expecting a battle but the CSA couldn't be nicer, she apologised for the overcharge and advised about the DTD policy, no questions asked.:j:j:j

It's nice not to be trouted:T:T:T

  • No baby yet? How long are you overdue?

Had a great trip to Cl33thorpes today, got a clip strip of 1p oust iron thingies. Some well priced whoopsies too. Tomy Digital TD350 RRP £84.99 in Babies 'r' us with no SEL so I scanned it and it was £6.50  so I had to buy it, even though DH & I had decided we weren't going to have a monitor :rotfl::rotfl:

Is the clip strip club still open for new members?

nope still no baby... 7 days overdue now.... not as long as some people, but long enough for me..

on a good note though - my lovely mummy and daddy is coming to visit me tomorrow. not seen her at all over xmas as she was waiting till baby arrived... cant wait to see her!!! xxx
Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.

Still catching up but wanted to say that the candle lighter I got was different to the one in this pic..... probably why I paid £2! :rotfl:The fly trap things were definitely the same though, is it only a certain barcode that scans cheaper?

    TIA :)
Yes there was some witha different bc when I went to Tesco.. thought I had hit the jackpot when I saw loads on the shelf... i took 10 packets then scanned them on the scanner and they were £3xxx

A question please re - wombled receipts, I have had some(not enough) from trolleys and they are easy to pick up without anyone thinking I'm weird;) but I have walked past some on the floor in the car park and been too embarrassed to stop and pick them up.

Would you pick them up if people were watching? If so how?

I am always on the lookout now but don't want to attract attention:D!!

    TIA!

Stuff what anyone else thinks is how I do it. If I want it then I pick it up and pay no attention to anyone.

I so agree what others think of me is of no concern to me whatsoever, but I'd bet 99.9% of people wouldn't think anything anyway
