Just so you know, for any CCTV to be used as evidence, it has to be date and time stamped all the way through.

I had trouble with my car being damaged, and I was told this by the coppers involved. Unfortunately, my images wern't 'evidentiary quality' as it was night time, and even with a security light they came out grainy :(

thats terrible..especially when you see some of the CCTV evidence used on things like Crimewatch...to be honest I'm surprised they catch anyone with silly rules like this :(

Sending warmest wishes to Beki & QPR ♥

I've still got 'big foot' burn & am hobbling badly :(:o

My old slippers have now found a home near the compose bin ;)

We've booked to go to Croatia in May & then Giants Causeway in June. I'm wondering if Thompsons will let us change Croatia to a different holiday in October? Normally go to Port Aventura in Salou & really want to that instead........:o

  • I took my dtd phones back for a refund last night.

The CS girls weren't sure what to do so called the CS Manager. He informed me that I had already had a refund and the receipt was now void. I explained that I hadn't had a refund - I had a dtd for an overcharge - but he was adamant and very huffy and dismissive.

I called HO who were most helpful. They rang the branch to tell them of their error - I was entitled to a refund of the 'correct price' - the amount I initially paid less the overcharge part. The HO guy then came back on the line and said he had also now had an argument with the CS Manager and what a rude man he was.

He said he would not subject me to having to return to the store for the refund so would send me a giftcard for the refund and I could keep the phones with their compliments.

It is a bit carp that a CS Manager doesn't understand this company policy but the young man on the phone could not have been more helpful or pleasant. He reported the CS Mangager to his boss - as he said, neither he nor I deserved to be spoken to in that way.

I shall be wearing my Groucho Marx glasses and moustache set next time I venture into the shop!

I'm going to try harder at this whoopsie business (so to speak) as there seem to be quite a few of the meat things with a multibuy discount that essentially makes them free....do we know which of the offers work and which don't? That would be quite useful, I'm more than happy to pop back tomorrow night and see!

I wa going to go Sat as Sun is closed for NY but I think on the days they close early there's s*d all left as everyone has the same idea!
I bought whoopsie Chicken slices & strawberries & cherries and none of the 2 for £x kicked in. Hth.
