They are the only shoes I've got so it will need to wait until I have a new pair. :(

Surely not? Stick your head out the window and you'll hear my violin playing just for you...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Never mind just wait for the £££'s to clear from ebay you'll be able to buy loads of pairs! And in the meantime you can go shopping in your dressing gown and slippers...they do that all the time in W4les you know...
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

This was also available in my normal size store today, chiller had b2g2f but was full of 2 for £5 / 4 for £8 stuff so not quite sure if there's a chance of double discounts??

  • OMG I need to get a new house, and soon!

Stuck here watching the old firm game, DS is upstairs watching my Brothers tv and both myself and my mum are on netbook and laptop!
Usually by now in my own house we'd be sitting down to watch Top Gear or a movie
So bored I'm thinking of heading out somewere but also the thought of having to pump up 2 tyres before I go anywere is putting me off, that plus hearing the wind outside every so often doesn't help!

Yeah I saw that instore today but couldn't work out if there was a way to work it to our favour or not and didn't have enough cash to try it and see if there were any double discounts!

  • ETA: Are you a fan of the darts then? Everyone thinks I'm a bit strange following darts!

I don't mind a bit of darts. But I do love cricket, esp test matches, rugby, football, F1. Pretty much anything really :)

Been shopping this afternoon................as ya do...........took a friend of mine who was at a loose end and curious about how I do all my bargain hunting.

First store was a damp squib, no ood SEL's and the reductions were pitiful.....onto store two......

Found the sets of raindrop mugs for 36p so had a few packs of those then poked around the phone section and found the quad pack of dect phones SEL £59.99 but scanned at £129.99 so they duly went into the basket as thats clearly a 'bargain' buy in my book! Further looking found some salmon at £2 a pack but there was 4 packs so with the extra discount, £1 a pack, so those fell into the basket too! Apork shoulder marked up at £5.49 a kilo on the pack (but £2.49 on SEL) also seemed to be attracted to my basket too! A couple of the japanese tatami air fresheners and a few other odds and ends and off to the tills we go.

After duly paying, my friend pops to costa for a coffee while I pop to CS. Both CS ladies were really nice and couldn't have been more accomodating! Bottom line was Tesco 'paid me' just over a fiver to take away my shopping!

On the way home we popped into morrisons to see what they had in the way of food reductions and dropped dead lucky as the fellah was just aboout to do them and there were only a handful of people after stuff! Posh sarnie ham, all sorts of posh ready meals, pork pies, sausage rolls and soooo much more at max price of 19p!! Ended up with 2 FULL carrier bags of stuff for £3.60 :T

EDIT......I must say a hearty thanks to the OP for the heads up on the phone misprice!! :) Sorry I can't recall who it was now :(

Cricket is the one sport that I just can't get my head around!

I'm not allowed to get Sky to watch all these sports though, my OH says I'm bad enough watching it on the laptop, nevermind having it on the telly as well! :rotfl::rotfl: Especially the darts, he can't stand it...well he says that but last time they were on council telly he was getting quite into it!!
