Just wondered if anyone know if Asda make big reductions on fresh meat in the evenings?

I've just realised it costs me more in petrol for the 15 min drive, than the amount I save getting them from Mr T. :(

Good laird that last thread got closed a bit quick didn't it?

We were only a couple of hundred posts away from 10,000 and I thought it was best to change whilst it was quiet rather than when everyone is chatting.

    Fancy doing my decorating?

I think if I right Mary Berry says you can ice this cake straight away.I would normally leave my cakes for at least 24 hrs before icing them.I think we all have our own ways that work for us.I just roll my icing out on a lightly sugared work surface.:)

it has royal icing on so I wouldn't ice until the day before serving.
my one is for a party tomorrow

Okay so I have no 1p goodies but how about a 6p wooden rolling pin ;)
Also thank you Mr T once again got some whoopsied chicken breast 3x£1.60 = £4.80 - £4.00 (3for £10 offer kicked in) :rotfl: 80p for 3 packs of chicken breasts.

Also can I bring this to your attention! Might have to run out and try this myself. Ariel Gel

Just got back from a quick shop in C@tter1ck. The smaller bottle of this are SEL'd at £4.50 but scanning at £7.19 meaning they only cost £1.81 with DTD. I didn't need any coz i've still got about 6 bottles left from the last glitch, but might help someone.

Okay here's the deal, the label states £2 but when I put it through the self service till it went through as "eat me bananas" £1. Hopefully others can make use of this.

Hi, not sure if you have already tried this but hey ho
My machine wouldn't drain so I removed the filter at the front and found £1.47 jamming it.:D Switched it back on and it has been fine ever since:)
Sorry to interrupt, I will go again now.

Sorry but i disagree, royal icing needs time to go hard, so i would do it in advance to make sure that it has time to set, oh and whilst waiting for it to set do not cover it! :D
