Bless - know how you feel I was like that with DS1 and that was 17 years ago on Friday. Star jumps worked for meIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Yep, seems the subtotal button is more elusive than the * spot!0 -

What about looking at newborn photos? Try http://myfirstphotos.co.uk for some inspiration to get the lil one outI have another newborn shoot tomorrow, can't wait
I was feeling good about my whoopsies today, this site has opened up a whole new world to me. My haul included salmon fillets 80p, pizza 34p, bread 20p, potato wedges. Not as impressive as FK though I need more lessons.0 -

The pork joints are supposed to be £2.49 per kilo which is £3 per kilo off the usual price of £5.49 per kilo but some packs are still priced up at £5.49 per kilo so on DTD the pay you to take them away provided the SEL for £2.49 is still there.
The SS tills make no noises at all when you hit the subtotal button and the nice thing is, it then gives a running total as you beep each item which is useful if you are in negative territory frantically scanning things to get positive again!
do the SS tills give you DTD automatically before you pay??? :eek::eek::eek:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
surely you weren't in the negative figures with the pork joints?? or am I missing something??0 -
i would have thought planning xmas would have been a good enough reason for her to interupst and come along... but Nooooooo.....
Started decorating the bathroom - been manic day all day trying to keep busy... been to 2 tescos, 1 asda, 1 morrisons. went for a looong walk across the moors with the kids lasting an hour n half (even ended up carrying the little one as his legs got tired!), re-grouted and re-sealed the bathroom, hand scrubbed the kitchen floor tiles, made another full on sunday dinner - from scratch - no leftovers, done 4 loads of washing, ironed 2 loads of washing, helped build a bookcase............. all in one day.

Evening everyone :wave:
Hope everyone is well
Happy Birthday calmspirit!! :beer: Hope you enjoy the rest of the day
Haven't managed to get to T's today, I had to nip into town this morning and the day just seemed to fly past. Off topic, I popped into Card Factory whilst out this morning, everything xmas was half price or less, the gift wrap they were selling before xmas for 3 for £1 is now 10 for £1. All the 10 pack boxed cards (really good quality imo) were 49p. Then I went into Wilkinsons and noticed the Cadburys Wishes (DS loves these) on a clip strip with no SEL. I presumed they would be at least half price (normally sell for around 60-70p don't they?) I picked up the clip strip (7 on there) and went to pay with the rest of my shop. I was quite surprised when they went through at 20p each so I paid and then went back for some more. I picked up another clip strip with 10 on and went back to a checkout. I thought the SA had miscounted when she asked for the total ........ £1!!!! When I checked the receipt it stated 10 items at 20p = £2.00, minus £1.00 discount - total to pay £1. (I realise that sooner or later these will probably scan at 1p "elsewhere"but I was more than happy with my little stash
)
