    Pack of salad-14p
    Bread-30p

Went for a quick whoopsie session today at one of the locals up here. Checked for OOD SEL's but all seemed in order or scanned cheaper.

Dunno if its any use to anyone but the battery opperated organ type keypoards that T's had for £50 reduced to £25 now scan at £12.50. Might be worth sticking in the cupboard for a birthday pressie perhaps?

Found the pork shoulders again (same store pmsl) so had a couple of those and added a whoopsied chicken, a small beef joint and 4 packs of tesco finest diced beef. Paid and left the store.......noticed one of the diced beefs had scanned at full price too! Result I thought and went to CS where they duly gave me DTD on the pork shoulders AND my pack of diced beef. I had £3 extra now in my pocket so went to see what else there was being reduced.

Got a couple of packs of sausage rolls for 2p, a couple of packs sausages and some of the posh cranberry stuffing, then the lad tells me he has a tray of meat he's about to bring out and reduce! its a tray full of stewing steak and theres only 2 of us still there waiting so we agree to split it between us. We had 7 packs each.

Manned tills were all full so went to SS (I hate doing this with whoopsies as they are often a pain to scan). Beeped through all the meat and hit the subtotal to see how much tesco 'owed me'. Then scanned the sausages, stuffing etc and to my horror with an empty basket they still owed my 70p!!! Fortunately the chocolate section is VERY close tot he SS tills so quickly grabbered a couple of snickers bars and duly paid my 30p.

Bottom line is tesco paid my just under £3 to take all this away today...........proper price just over £80 and brings my tally of pork shoulders rescued to 7!! :)

Arh, that's were I went wrong then - I had an almost full glass of slimline tonic with lemon and added a splash of Martini Extra Dry - got it the wrong way round :rotfl: :rotfl:

No haven't had enough DTD to afford Sky, I should be there :(, I have started up desktop & have it on a stream thing don't feel like sitting at the desk watching it, I want to get into bed, I may have to try & get it on through the netbook, I'll probably fall asleep, so happy tomorrow is the last day of the shingles tablets, at least they are making me rest my leg.

    1 - 1 draw - so Swansea go above S'land - QPR played well

I love it on here - like minded people who love a proper bargain.

I reckon I spent less than £50 if that on all the presents and food I bought for Xmas and there's a ton of food left too. Good job too as money is really tight.

I don't tell my friends or family though because then they would know how little I spent on them compared to what they spent on me!
