  • Yay!! Hey everyone :hello:

    Hope everyone's well, I look forward to catching up as soon as I've posted.

    Had some fantastic luck today :T Was ummming and ahhhhing whether or not to go to T's as my local was closed and a couple of my friends ran in a Boxing Day race today so it was lunchtime before I could even think of heading out. Am so glad I did.

    1st T's Toni & Guy hair straightners SEL £29.97 half price, scanned at £59.97, DTD no questions asked = FREE
    2nd T's No luck
    3rd T's 1 Whoopsied bag of carrots 22p :p :rotfl:

    Popped in Thorntons to swap a box of chocs my sis bought my Mum for xmas as she bought the wrong ones! The ones she wanted went into the sale and were £2 less than the box she bought. Even though I didn't have the receipt she gave me the £2 in cash :T

    Then to Mr A's!!!!!!!!!!!! :T:rotfl::T

    MASSIVE reductions on turkeys! We had a 3 bird roast yesterday so don't feel like we've overdone it on the turkey yet. There were 2 aisle end fridges full of turkeys and turkey crowns, well over 100. When I first looked they were only down to half price so I carried on browsing and they went down to 25%. Then the guys reducing said when you go to the till it'll be 50% of the marked price! So I grabbed a crown for £4 and debating what else to get wandered over to the next fridge where a queue was forming. The guy at that fridge was halving the price again! So I had a £25 turkey for £1.40 and 3 turkey crowns originally priced at £57 for £4.25. Except when I looked at my bill, I've been charged £3.50 for the lot!

    Got a few other whoopsies, all veg/salad was down to 3p; iceberg lettuce, cucumber, punnets of mushrooms, jacket potatoes. A £10 beef wellington for 10p, chicken breasts for £1, fresh pizza for 30p! Needless to say when I came out I looked like this...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    Right off to catch up!

    I echo your thoughts for the brave boys and girls stationed overseas :T :T

    I'm tempted to open the 12 year old Balvenie. I used the £2 off Glenfiddich coupon but as T's didn't have any Glenfiddich I did my own substitutions.:beer:
