Sounds like us, both myself & my Mother feltvery ill this morning for different reasons, so no breakfast, managed to cook the turkey a la phil vickery, with water in tray so no need to keep watching the turkey. Mother had two bites not hungry, DN 1 won't eat turkey, has bacon & mini sausages. but that okay. Mother had her mini Christmas pudding for tea & one chocolate biscuit.

Heard some news which i knew would make mother feel worse, asked DN1 to text DN2 to ask him not to mention it when he came over. as soon as i was out of the room lying down DN2 told her !:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Just before she went to bed she said I'll never felt so ill  next year locking the door, unplugging the phone & staying in bed

As they say, we can choose our friends but not our family ........ and christmas brings out the worst in some members of family :(

    Two answers:

That bus isn't going anywhere as there's no bus service today, it's Christmas Day

    or

That 'bus' isn't going anywhere until it gets a driver :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sadly had problems with a few of both this year but a couple of friends have been proved themselves to be giants (I make sure I tell them as well) and really helped me through & of course you lovely people on here have certainly kept me laughing & motivated

Its going from left to right (if its a UK based bus) as the door is not shown so must be on the other side.
