Thanks some useful balanced answers there.
Of course none of us hqave crystal ball.
But I think eurozone will get smaller in 2012 as the countries who struggling have austerity and no growth.
Here I suspect then retail quarter figures will be good as had no severe weather and its been xmas but think the next quarter will be a struggle once xmas over it be hard.
News mentions currency wars and devaluing mainly yen against dollar
Dont think boe have a longterm plan they just winging it.
Just seems so different to last few recessions/house crashes when interest rates and inflation was higher.
I dont fully understand why they feel inflation will drop next year as food prices forcast to increrase nearly 20%.
I dont feel low interest rates or qe is working as no new lending and not stimulating the economy as wages/income out of line with living costs.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:
