    I am a debt counsellor working in the voluntary sector - we don't charge our clients for the work we do!

    I'm a PA in a patent/trademarks firm but moving to a more general law firm in a couple of weeks for more pay and better prospects. Yay! :j (Scared of change though :eek:)
    What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

    DFD - WAS: a while ago

    NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!

  • I used to work for a bank but gave up in 2003 (personal reasons). I am now a student with the OU (2nd year). DH is a driving instructor.

    I am a Sales Executive (I prefer the term rep but the company doesnt) for a Computer Book Wholesaler.

    I also do Consultancy work in the area of Customer Service training and retail training.

    and in my spare time I do a part time job at Tesco, and also build/repair computers to order.

    No one said that this DFW thing was going to do much for your social life did they ;)

    I'm self-employed as a book indexer. Most people never know what that means :) Basically, if you look in the back of textbooks, you find an index. I compile those.

    I work from home, have been doing it since 1988 and it's not a bad life. It pays pretty well (though it takes a long time to get established). I work mostly in law and social sciences, though I have done lots of other things too.
