Asda Voucher Printing - instore for free

Just highlighting this in case anyone else didn't know about it (I certainly didn't until my printer broke last week and I checked!).

Full paste of my query via the online Contact form for Asda:
My PC's printer broke last week, which I normally use to print the Asda Guarantee voucher on the weeks I check my receipts and have a money off coupon to use. A friend has told me that her local Asda prints off the coupons for her when she goes in (she doesn't actually own a printer herself)... normally at the customer service desk.

Can you confirm if they would do this at the _____ store for me for a few weeks until I replace my PC printer... or is this something my friend's getting through just someone at the Customer Service desk being nice on the occasion when she pops in? Thank you!
Their reply:
Thank you for contacting us about the Asda Price Guarantee website.

I am pleased to tell you that the instore service is one that we offer nationally. I have been in contact with the ___________ store to confirm that they are definitely running the service, and they will be more than happy to print your vouchers for you.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

  • Ive just check and I'm up to this page: ASDA were cheapest! However we weren’t 10% cheaper than
all competitors so please see below for your voucher

If i click on the get your voucher but, is it a one time only thing that you have to print there and then or is it like a pdf? Printer is broke where I am now but I could email it onto someone to print out. Going to customer services is a last resort in my local!
  • No, you don't have to print it there and then - you can enter the details again when you have a working printer at your disposal and print it out.

GAH! Ignore my original post - popped along this afternoon only to be told (initially) that "we aren't doing the voucher promotion any more" (?! wrong) and then that they don't have internet access or a printer to print my voucher at the Customer Service desk.

I've emailed Asda back to ask what's going on.... either they can or they can't... either is fine with me, I just want the info to be reliable.
