Eggnog?

Options
Not sure if I'm in the right place, But has anyone seen any place selling Eggnog? I've always wanted to try it but haven't seen it anywhere.

If not anyone got any good recipes to share?

Thanks. :)
I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

Smoke free since Jan 2014 :D If you want any advice on quitting please send me a PM. :)

  • Hi
Tesco sell serge island egg nog drink. Its 69p and is in the ethnic aisle with the Jamaican items. Its in a little carton with a straw like ribena.
Its quite nice, but not very alcoholic even though it apparently has overproof rum in, tastes a little bit pasteurised if you know what I mean.
Anyway its a cheap way to give it a try.
    Hope that helps.

Thanks I'll have a look for it next time I'm near tesco. Might try to make my own since there's a lot of recipes online :)

  • I always thought Eggnog was the american term for a snowball?

    Am I wrong? (again)
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.
  • I think Advocaat is eggnog - available in most supermarkets, and they often have cheaper brands.

Its basically milk, egg and sugar mixed with a spirit (or not).
    A few recipes here: http://www.eggnogrecipe.net/

A snowball is eggnog mixed with lemonade - it goes all fizzy and fluffy.

Noooo! Eggnog is not Avocat: you mix avocat with lemonade and it works, you mix eggnig with lemonade and you get a mess!;)
