Ok, so i am extremely worried here.
I literally applied for a phone contract with orange through phones4u's website. Which got declined.
I then tried with Vodaphone for a similar package and that got declined.
I then tried for the sim only deal with vodaphone and orange and that was also declined.
Something must be up here. I have literally turned 18 a few days ago and my credit report/score should be spanking clean.
Apparently the people that lived at the address before we moved in, took out a lot of credit and ballifs were coming around the house literally everyday.
Would it be possible that the address could be blacklisted, or perhaps it could be i have no credit history whatsoever?
I took out a credit report with callcredit the other day, they couldn't get my credit report as there was no history and it's litterally the same with credit expert but i believe there might be some sort of history as they have sent out a PIN in the post.

no, it does not go on address
you are 18 with no credit history so you need to find someone to take a punt on you first. Please go back to the list of actions I gave you yesterday. Also see Martin's article on building your credit rating.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
Nobody starts off with a literally perfect credit score but as long as you can follow Emmzi's advice you'll be on the way to improving yours. Can I help?0

You would start off with a very BAD score (purely due to having no credit history for any creditors to base your repayment history upon), so you need to go about MAKING it a good history.
Try sub-prime cards such as Vanquis, Aqua, Capital one.
Long gone are the days when people turned 18 and immediately got accepted for a Barclaycard with a £5000 limit, I'm afraid.0 -
You applied for 4 forms of credit with ZERO history, you've just destroyed all hope of being accepted for ANY credit in the next 3-6 months, everyone has given you loads of advice. First of all manage a Current account well for a year then apply for a Vanquis card.0
