WHSmith Sellotape twin pack 99p (meant to be £1.79) instore E: unknown

Hi All,
I picked up some WHSmith own brand sellotape twin packs today (19mm x 50m barcode 0078 8731) that were shown on the shelf as £1.79 each.
I used the self-checkout in Southend and they went through at 99p for each twin pack. No idea if they go through the same at the normal tills.
When I went to get some more rolls I saw that the shelf actually says 'buy one get one half price' but 99p is obviously better than this. You can probably buy cheaper sellotape in pound stores, etc. but this should hopefully be quality tape that doesnt wrip when you try and use it.
Great for wrapping Christmas pressies!! (and much better than £2.49 a roll for branded stuff!)
Gary.

I bought this yesterday and it came with the plastic dispenser with the serated edge...so much easier when wrapping presents...no finding stuck down pieces of sellotape on furniture 6mths later!
Also...Home Bargains have a large roll of branded sellotape...the real stuff for 49p RRP £2.49 and I have seen this at £2.49 in my local co-op. I bought one of these too to keep in the kitchen drawer!
