Car boot sales (Merged discussion)

I'm pretty sure the Crumlin Road boot sale is on this Sunday. I'm going - so hope it is! I remember going last year in late October and regardless of the weather you normally get a good crowd.
It can be hit and miss though, i've been quite a few times and you can come home with £20 or £100. Although normally well worth going, just make sure you are there quite early. I intend to be there around 8 - 8.30 to get a good spot.0 -
For the last couple of years the Crumlin Rd BS has run right through the winter. It seems that it's just whatever the weather is like on the day determines the crowd etc. I have been to it when it's bitterly cold but as long as there's no rain or snow people still go!The year before last it was even open on Christmas Eve, I got some lovely veg!

I'd love to know the answer to this as well - I've a mountain of stuff I keep saying I'm going to take to a car boot sale and never do!"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
