When are John Lewis Sales?

Last year I managed to get all my Xmas shopping, Perfume etc in sale at John Lewis just before Xmas.
Not seen any good/crazy ones as such.
Has anyone else, or know if/when they will be

Reliably informed that John Lewis are not open on Boxing day so their sale officially starts on 27th Dec!0

Online on 24 December from 5pm, instore 27 December.0

Shame, the pre xmas one day sales were good last year.
Will have to look to another shop who's having then instead.
