Best temporary work

I'm not working at the moment after my last contract came to an end, so am available, but in what I normally do there isn't a lot of work, so I'm thinking of getting some temporary work that may allow me to go for interviews and finish at say one/two weeks notice.
Would it be best to go for part-time temp work? I'm really not sure what is available/easiest to get?
Cleaning?
Driving?
Data Entry?
Reading fuel meters?
Mystery shopping?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I was looking a few years ago I worked on the 2-10pm shift in warehouse which then gave me the mornings to attend interviews, whilst still giving me an income.0

it depends on what's available in your area. it's no good people advising mystery shopping if you live on a remote Scottish island
. Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.
