Lush Sale

Options
Hi, any ideas what the lush sale will be this year, last year the gift sets were 50%. Just wondering whether any ones got any info beforehand and what day will start? (I not been lucky enough to be able to get onto the lush forum)... Many thanks in advance.....

  • Word on the Lush forum seems to be that no one (not even the shop staff) will know what, if any, sort of sale they'll have until Boxing Day. I'm afraid it's a case of waiting, or just taking your chances and going on Boxing Day anyway.

For the last few years most Lush stores seem to have the sale start Boxing day though what exactly happens does seem to vary. Everything from grab-bags appearing New Years Day to buy one get one free on Christmas things. Its not something I think anyone knows until the day. Worth checking with the store to see if they will be having a sale that day as some don't even open.
  • It will be announced on the website on Christmas day.
  • Thank you all :j Will refrain from buying today when in town and take my chances on boxing day.... thanks all for replying x

Last year's sale was amazing. As well as gift sets they reduced any items with a short use by date so I got bags full of perfumes, bombs and other fantastic products for half price!

It was actually a great idea because I got to try loads of products I would never have bothered to try at full price and now I'm well and truly addicted!

If they do the same this year its well worth checking around different stores if you have a few in the area because all the shops had different products reduced. :D:D:D

I asked in store yesterday. Staff don't know yet, not being told in case of keeping anything back for themselves I was told. The SA I had was gutted not to be working on Boxing Day just in case! Our shop has been a Boxing Day sale for the last few years so expect it to be again.

On-line was goody bags IIRC and not nearly as good a deal as going in store.

It will be 50% off the Christmas stuff and the things made by a certain date. It will 'probably' ;) be Boxing day in the stores. The have tried to keep things secret this year due to previous years when people were fighting and going on stupid in the shops.

Thanks for the tip- you know- just incase your partner is able to speak to anyone important at Lush (or if he is anyone in the head office) it would be a massive help to them regarding the fighting and people getting nasty (watched it from the window last year, some people are just greedy IMO) If they could just put a limit on how many of particular sets people can buy.

One lady buying 3 of the £100 boxes last year....and then reading on these boards about another who had bought 5 not ot mention others boasting. Many go straight onto Ebay which isn't fair for Lush or those that queued or if your in London, walked for miles to get to a shop due to London Tubes demanding a higher pay then a nurse or many other service men and women.
I know its a good deal but why people can't just apply a little good will and share the bargains is beyond me. Lush could do more by limiting things so people who are greedy don't take everything but they don't seem to deal with this problem.
