@lullalolly *That's what I am thinking too* *You are NOT alone!!* I have a Book Blog which you could see on the Thread that falls short of the Glory of Book Blogs, but that has a legitamate voice to offer, all the more so because one of my most reliable Twitter Followers has subscribed. That's why as you might seem I believe a love of Lifelong Learning and directing your own Studies is, in fact an asset to the process. DIY Undergraduate English Literature and Language courtesy of MIT Opencourseware, FREE Courses, but lots of lovely expensive books to buy (defends and buys at cheapest possible rate!!) as it can take you out of the Genre specific Criticism areas that are well populated and give you an intellectual voice whereby you can focus on these common areas with more aplomb and individuality.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

wow wouldbequalitymoneysaver!!! I took a sneaky peek, and I am totally refreshed by your absolute determination!! What an inspiration!! You should be very very proud of yourself, I only wish I had half the self discipline that you seem to have!
I've had a rather busy day so haven't had much chance to do any more research yet. But it's fair to say that is certainly where I am at, the research stage. Although I've decided that since I read anyway , it won't do me any harm to review each book and keep a copy for practice sake!

Hi *waves*
I am also a mummy who reads a book a day, i believe in lifelong learning also and decided to do an honors degree when my son was born. I love to read and signed up to BookSneeze where they send you free books (UK and USA) you choose the book and then review it and give them the link to your review...voila done! after you review you can choose another book. (they do ebooks too)
I also want to start a book blog and want to write some books. I'm currently trying to get my finger out and get started on everything, with it being 2012 i'm more determined than ever.
I'm a member of Goodreads also and it's good but you can feel lost. Why not try writing reviews, posting them on your blog, Dooyoo and ciao (simply copy & paste) and copy and paste them to Amazon too. I know Amazon have a programme for VIP's where they basically choose you if you write good reviews and you get to try products/books/dvd's for free as long as you review them.

Hi, I've been a loiterer on this forum for a few weeks and have picked up some brilliant ideas to help my work from home income on its way! Can I just ask a quick question to the people who read a book a day (and wow, by the way, don't know how you manage that!) Do you prefer to read actual books or on kindle/PC etc? Does the low price of E books make you more inclined to read them or do you still prefer real books?
Thanks0 -
Hi,
I'm such a huge fan of books that i prefer to read physical books rather than ebooks. I think if i was aloud to i would have a dedicated book room/library in my house *sigh* xBlogger / Money SaverMake £2022 in 2022 Challenge - Accepted0
