It was Christmas eve last year, hoping it'll be earlier or later, as I can't do Christmas eve online this year!0

Anyone have any idea roughly what time it started last year on Christmas eve? Were planning to go for a 'day' at the sales in the local retail park but wont be able to go til around 12pm (expecting the shops to have been open for around 2 hours). Just checked Boots website though and they open at 8am!
Would be great if we could order a few things online incase theres not much left by the time we arrive0 -
Last year it started at 12 noon.0

When I worked at Boots there were further savings at the discretion of the manager, to clear the warehouse. It was frightening being followed by hordes of women grabbing £1 smelly sets faster than I could put them out!Been away for a while.0

Must admit I got some nice things last year in the 75% off sale such as mug sets, wrapping paper and a few other bits but I do agree that its just the left overs really and nothing like the range of items left in the50% off sale.
Will be waiting at 12 on Christmas Eve to hoping to see a thread on here stating Boots sale live, thanks for the info!

You're kidding me aren't you?! I got about £400 "worth" of stuff in the 75% sale for £100, I use "worth" cos I don't think it's really worth that much but that was the stickered prices, but still £100 to fill my birthday present cupboard for the whole year and have some stuff for Christmas too, was not bad! It wasn't unusable rubbish - I got (off the top of my head) some lovely No 7 sets, Lee Stafford hair stuff, Botanics gift sets, FCUK stuff, luxury crackers, gift wrap, cards, tags..... I can't think what else now as it was 11 months ago but I got LOADS!!! Then when it went to 90% off a couple of weeks later I got a few more bits, admittedly nothing great but got some PJ cases for little ones, nice handbag mirrors, makeup bags etc!
I would never buy in the 50% sale unless there was something I desperately wanted that I was afraid would go out of stock. I always wait for the 75% off!!0
