    To be honest the chances of getting a £15k unsecured loan with a bad credit history is not very good

    It depends on how bad your credit rating is, but I agree with Phoenix 79. If you manage to get a loan at all, it will be at a usurious rate of interest. Why not try the debt free wannabe board for some ideas of how to manage without taking on more debt?
    I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

    What'sthe loan for - could you look at secured if you have equity - if money is for home improvement this can be a good route - just be carefull not to get into any of these ones they advertise on tv for people with poor credit ratings - can be huge APR's....

    Normally your own bank would be a good place to start though....
