These couriers are a bunch of imbeciles, but that doesn't surprise me because they're owned by Littlewoods!

Took the day off today as I was told it would be delivered, low and behold despite the shipping tracker stating "loaded onto van" since 3am last night it wasn't delivered.

Mine was delivered yesterday no probs (our Home Delivery Network driver is easily the most efficient courier driver I have ever witnessed). Brand spanking new and beautifully presented (as only Sony know how!). Billy bargain!

Well hopefully mine has been delivered today, if not i'll have something to say to them. They made no attempt to deliver it yesterday, yet still lied by saying they had "carded".

Apple do the best presentation/packaging that's non-negotiable.

Mine arrived today, had a little play with it, seems ok.

Firstly i'd like to moan about the lack of a softpouch or any sort of carry case included. If i'd just paid £150 for this, i'd be pretty annoyed that it didn't come with something to protect the polished face of the unit.

Secondly, going back to the packaging. Yes it comes in a nice black box, but inside the box is horrible plastic, and badly constructed cardboard maintainer. I'm guessing you've never bought an Apple product lol, their packaging is oragamiesque.

Now to decide if this shall go on eBay or not, I really can't be bothered with having to buy a case for the thing! Only wanted it for the gym.

I got mine a few weeks ago. Absolute bargain, and it looks gorgeous. I was worried about the software, having read horror stories about it after I ordered (never a good idea).

I downloaded the firmware upgrade 3.0 and the latest SonicStage 3.2 and it's been perfectly fine. There's even a volume hack.. http://www.techlounge.co.uk/96/sony-nwa3000-volume-limiter-hack.html though it does drain the battery a bit quicker, obviously.

Ebuyer had an official Sony silicone skin for anyone worried about scratches, the annoying thing is you have to take it off when you want to charge it. The charger doesn't fit with the skin on. D'oh. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/102663
