I bought one of her non-stick frying pans when they had them for £2 in Hypervalue and it's absolutely fantastic, I've never known anything stay non-stick like this has. You can literally fry an egg without any oil and it will just slide out. Fab for pancakes.
Oh dear, here we go again.

I went off her after seeing a clip of her tv programme where she tried to make herself look clever and an actress look useless by appearing to show an easy way to fold a t shirt but in fact obscuring the method as much as possible. MS claimed to have invented this method, but in fact it is all over the net

and appears to have originated in Japan

I have looked on Martha Stewart's website loads in the past and and always thought "Why don't we have someone like that over here?" - and soon we will!!

I can't wait to get her magazine, I know some places sell the US version but a UK one with relivant ads and listings is going to be so awesome. :D

Btw I don't see why the article does comparisons to Nigella - I think of her more of a Jamie Oliver type trying to appeal to the Chelsea set, where as Martha is more mumsy/homemaker and in a realistic budget :T
  • Is she really going to manage to make it over here? As I recall her criminal record caused her to be turned back at immigration the last time she came to the UK so she could have a problem there.
I find her a bit too Stepford Wife-y for me, but I know she has lots of followers in the US.

    It's only a game

I got put off Martha Stewart when she appropriated that clever far East t shirt folding technique as her own and then demonstrated it very fast so no one else could do it and looked silly on her programme while she smugly succeeded.
  • ooooh I love Martha Stewart, in spite of her ex-jailbird status! My sis brings me over Martha Stewart Weddings mag when she comes over to visit and I find it full of ace ideas! I really like all the HM ideas on her website too. I am excited!

Great. My newsagent used to get me the magazine from America in the days before I retired and had more money:D
