True - depends on the car though; mine's never broken down but my brother's fiesta which is the same age didn't start properly for 3 weeks when he first had it!

Fiestas are known to have problems starting even brand spanking new ones.
I'm in the nearly new camp. As soon as a car drives out of that car lot its value shoots down, so no point in brand new but if you want a newish feel go for 6 months old or maybe ex demo (though I'm never sure about exdemos).0 -
I've just taken out a 3 year loan for a car with Direct Line at 6.4%. To get this rate you had to borrow 5,000 or more - might be worth a phone call0
