Are these a good investment??

If so how do I buy them?

Do any ISA's have these sort of Corporate Bonds in their portfolios.
If so which?

Thanks.

If you know as little as you seem to know about this type of investment, I would suggest you leave them alone.

What's a good investment for one person can be unsuitable for another person. Personally if it is inflation proofing you are after they are not bad, but I prefer index-linked 2022 Treasury stock myself which has produced a capital gain of around 10% since I bought it, plus a good income stream. Any decent stockbroker can get you either of these, or you can buy the Government stock through the Post Office - or at least you could in years gone by, with all the Post Office chopping and dicing maybe this no longer holds true.

Yeah with the NS&I unavailable to me I was looking for alternative inflation proofing.
I realise the Tesco may not be as sound as NS&I but it's not that bad.
Thanks for the the suggestion about 2022 Treasury. Are these as easy to dispose of as say UTs? Or is there some sort of bidding associated with them? Or do you just hold them until the mature date.

5 seconds on the phone to your broker and they are gone.
