  • I normally get a VIP slot but the last 2 times I have had system errors and my basket has beem emptied twice. So I spend about £50 opposed to a few hundred that I normally do. This year I plan to list everything I would like and do a quick shop instead of browsing through the pictures. Have already started looking at the stuff online and tbh quite a few of the items are already sold out.
    There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age
  • I have rang Next this morning and have been told they are doing the sale a different way for the winter sale.

    Customer Services have told me that between wednesday and Christmas Eve you will receive an email with a link on which will take you directly to another website that is linked with Next. They advised that you wont dont it the usual way by clicking into your account you have to wait for this email and the Sale will start Christmas eve which is a bit pants really for me :-( i am busy from Christmas Eve!

    Looks like i will be standing outside on Boxing day with the rest. At least i will stand a chance of getting what i want :-)

    Anyone checked this story out?? seems a bit odd to me wonder if they are trying to fob us off?? rang yesterday and I have a slot nothing was mentioned about the above though I thought she said an email would be sent either today or tomorrow
  • It didnt wame sense to me either when she was telling me. The way she was saying what would happen sounded rubbish to me. I had to ask if we could pick slots and she said yes but not through the normal my account way.

    VIP sale defo starts Christmas eve online according to customer services which is no good to me!!
  • They told me i have a slot but cannot do anything until i get this email with a link!

    I have had a slot for the last 4 sales but never done it this way. I told the lady it all seems silly!!
  • Hi I just rang and they told me that emails will go out today until 22nd, you will need to use the email link and not signing into your account. She told me I had a slot and they will not be sending out postcard either this year x

    i have just checked next.co.uk/vipsale and its letting you register...but says i havent got a slot as yet????

    If I log in, then type in next.co.uk/vipsale it says the sale is only for selected customers. I don't know if this is an indication that I haven't got a slot or if it's just that I'm too early :)
