Next VIP invites coming soon - heads up!!!

The VIP link says the usual all sale items half price etc. and registration coming soon. It's around the 20th when the emails come so keep checking and log into your accounts now and again as sometimes the email is too slow to arrive.

Now it's time for the usual complaints that some people never get a slot when everyone else does every year, there is nothing in stock, this year's range is rubbish etc etc (I indulge in all the moaning as I love a good complain). Then someone will put a preview link on and we'll all make note of the fact that the things in the sale are vile or remnants from summer. Then those with slots will say they spent hundreds and everyone else will say they should be more restrained and save some for other people. It's all a festive tradition now - it wouldn't be Christmas without the Next sale drama :beer:

Now preparing myself - if a slot appears a moan that the stuff is tat and if it doesn't then Next are dreadful, I spending x amount every year, have their stupid directory and now will close my account immediately while stomping about in a huff . Can't wait.

Ooh the excitement. The highlight of my Xmas. I can't wait. Hope I get an invite again. My account is paid off, I have a useless directory unopened so bloody better get one!

Not bothered about the online sale, would love a £2 sale in the clearance store though - seems ages, years even since they had an everything is £2 sale.

I seem to remember emails on Monday for a Wednesday night slot. Those with better memories can confirm or put the right days on. I'm not known for my huge amount of brain cells. More for being typically blonde.

I remember last year a few of my items arrived on Xmas eve so it must be soon. Shall keep checking my account, i have the day off today so guess who is going to be glued to their computer!:j

Love the OP's post. So true about last year. Well I've got my fingers and toes crossed that I get a slot not that I want or need anything but once I get a slot i always manage to find far too much I like and end up buying it all.

oh i hope i get a slot, i don't want much (just some clothes for dd1 and some shoes), but i will try not to moan if i dont get a slot

I went on the Next website yesterday to order a shrug and some tights for dd2 and both were out of stock so it looks like there will not be that much in the sale (as most things seem to be out of stock already)

I have rang Next this morning and have been told they are doing the sale a different way for the winter sale.

Customer Services have told me that between wednesday and Christmas Eve you will receive an email with a link on which will take you directly to another website that is linked with Next. They advised that you wont dont it the usual way by clicking into your account you have to wait for this email and the Sale will start Christmas eve which is a bit pants really for me :-( i am busy from Christmas Eve!

Looks like i will be standing outside on Boxing day with the rest. At least i will stand a chance of getting what i want :-)

So no one will be able to shop in the sale until christmas eve? (sorry i dont understand, am a bit blonde) sounds a bit odd too me but maybe it will make things easier as the site tends to crash each year in the sale.
