Advice for an Up Your INcome newb?

Options
Hi all.

I'm a newbie to all this since I recently lost my job, there are so many threads it's hard to keep up with everything, i was wondering if you guys had any tips?

If you were just starting out again, what advice do you wish you had been given?
What is the easiest "job" to get started with?
Are there any warnings you'd give?

I'm positive i had other questions but now it comes to writing them down i can't remember them. Typical. Oh well.

Thank you all for any advice.

Oh, by the way, does anyone know how i can change my name on here? I don't much like this one...long story as to how i have it.

There is no "easiest job" to get started with, because everyone is different.

Some people like completing surveys, to them it is easy, but if you don't like doing it, it's hard work.

The best thing to do is decide what you like doing, and look for work doing that. If you pick something you don't like, just because someone said it was easy, you will soon stop doing it.

Thing with me is i'm perfectly happy to do a job i don't like temporarily until i find one i do like, i just need something to get me started while i find my niche.

The problem is, it's not a job. It's you sitting at home having the choice of doing something you don't like, or doing something you do. Most people end up doing the things they do like, even if it won't earn them any money when doing the things they don't like will.

Also, how long is temporary? For most things you won't see any money for 2 or 3 months.
